Focused on youth and education At Minter Ellison Rudd Watts we are dedicated to building long-term partnerships with organisations that are committed to supporting youth, education and improving the quality of life and education of young people within our local community.
Our assistance for local community initiatives in the regions where we operate comes in the form of donations, fundraising and volunteering the time and skills of our talented staff and Partners to provide appropriate assistance as required.
Our people serve on school boards on a voluntary basis, and act as trustees for community organisations. In the wider context we are involved in many groups that have been set up to assist the business community.
Minter Ellison Rudd Watts community work falls into three categories:

Building Better Schools through Business Partnerships Programme: Working to build management capacity and improve educational outcomes in Auckland’s low decile schools. YouthLaw (Tino Rangatiratanga Taitamariki): A community law centre for children and young people throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand.
City Mission: Providers of unique and specialised health and social services to marginalised people in Auckland and Wellington, helping them to move forward. The focus is on addressing immediate needs and what can be changed to make improvements in the future. Women's Refuge: A not for profit non- government organisation that relies on volunteer support within our local communities in Auckland and Wellington. Services they provide include a domestic violence calls help line, confidential safe-house, information on legal issues, and the collection and distribution of public donations to support families.
