Solid Energy appoints MERW Partner to Board

David Patterson, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts Partner, tax law specialist, and former Chairman (2004 - 2008), has been appointed to Director of Solid Energy New Zealand Limited.
Nine new appointments and seven reappointments across 11 State Owned Enterprises were announced this week by State Owned Enterprises Minister Simon Power.
The appointment will take effect between 1 May and 1 July 2010. The beehive media statement said “The new directors have a broad range of commercial experience across all sectors of the community, and the economy, and will bring a fresh perspective to the portfolio.”
