Minter Ellison Rudd Watts' supports NZ Agriculture

Today, at the Federated Farmers National Conference in Invercargill, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts' Chair and winner of the 2010 Veuve Clicquot businesswoman of the year, Cathy Quinn will co-judge the prestigious Federated Farmers 2010 Agribusiness Person of the year.
The Agribusiness award recognises an individual who has made a long and dedicated contribution to the agricultural industry, who has shown leadership and determination, contributed to the community and who has vision for the future.
The judging panel further includes Tim Shadbolt, Mayor of Invercargill, Sir Brian Lochore, former All Black, Julia Broughton, Coach of the Southern Steel, and Bill McLeod, Chairman of New Zealand's international fertiliser cooperative Ravensdown.
The candidates for this year's Agribusiness award are reportedly of an 'exceptional calibre' and include Fonterra's CEO, Andrew Ferrier, Massey University's associate professor in farm and agribusiness management, Nicola Shadbolt, Managing director of CRS software, Brian Eccles, ANZCO foods chairman, Graeme Harrison, the Brownrigg Brothers from Brownrigg Agriculture and Managing Director of Farmworks Precision Farming Systems, Colin McFadzen.
