Jocelyn is a special counsel in the Commercial Property Practice Group. Jocelyn has specialised in the areas of commercial property transactions and funds management. She advises private and public sector clients on a wide range of commercial property related issues and transactions. Jocelyn offers clients co-ordination of legal project management and due diligence programmes.  She forms an integral part of clients' strategic teams on commercial transactions.

Some of Jocelyn's major projects

  • Providing strategic property advice on corporate transactions, including restructuring
  • Advising on the acquisition and disposal of major CBD commercial office buildings,  industrial estates and multi-use developments, including residential developments and hotels in Sydney and Auckland
  • Advising government agencies on the development and disposal, by sale and long-term lease, of large areas of state owned land from the calling for tenders, the assessment of tenders, construction contracts for the development of the land, development agreements, agreements for sale, long term leases and financing
  • Advising on the acquisition and development of land, construction and refurbishment of commercial office premises, industrial estates, multi-use developments, including commercial, retail and residential and hotels
  • Negotiating and drafting on-going development controls for major subdivisions
  • Advising government agencies on the property aspects of PPP for tollways
  • Coordinating a programme for a major Australian bank for the sale and leaseback of properties in excess of AU$20 million
  • Managing legal due diligence programmes for the acquisition of major commercial properties
