The Bill will update the Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act, Weights and Measures Act and Sale of Goods Act and repeal four other pieces of consumer legislation; the Door to Door Sales Act, the Layby Sales Act, the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act, and the Auctioneers Act.
